We were celebrating our 21 year wedding anniversary and had a lovely, relaxed time away together. KK is on Borneo Island. Borneo hosts parts of 3 countries Brunei, Malaysia, and Indonesia and is known for it's amazing peak and unique indigenous wildlife. Author Agnes Newton Keith wrote about her life there before, during, and after WWII; and sealed the fisherman's phrase "Land Below the Wind" as an unofficial motto of Sabah (on the island).
