Hi! Have left a little award for you over at my place The Johnson Diaries
ReplyDeleteHope you like that sort of thing!
Love your blog - always great posts! Have a lovely day!
XOXO LOLA:)
Okay, I'm not sure if this was your intended message, but what I got is that everyone is gray and gloomy, hunched under their umbrellas, but the girl is noticing the beauty around her - smelling the rain! Love it!
ReplyDeleteI love that! I really like the story you're telling on the one umbrella.
ReplyDeleteHi Steph, me again!
ReplyDeleteStopped by earlier with a little award but, on reflection, not sure if yours is an award-free blog so my apologies in advance if that should be the case!
In any event, love yr site - that's why I'm a follower!
Have a great day,
XOXO LOLA:)
Love your umbrellas, so if you found them hard to draw you ended up doing a great job. I like the colorful umbrella in the midst of the grey ones. It turned out wonderful!
ReplyDeleteyour colored umbrella was such a pleasant surprise amid the black and white sketches! i love the designs you added, and the way the girl is peeking out from underneath it! lovely!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool idea! Wouldn't it be great to be able to color them all with bright designs and have a bird's eye view like that?!
ReplyDeleteThat's just a wonderful painting. A little touch of colors is beautiful to bring out the smile on that girl face..
ReplyDeleteIn my part of the world, rain, gloomy, cold and windy :-(
Paint with me looks like fun. I think you did a great job of the umbrellas!
ReplyDeleteI think the umbrellas look great!
